It’s Raining-Can’t Go Out-So….

I used to live in Cottage Grove, Oregon during the mid 1970s.  I moved back to Dixie in Southern Utah to get away from the rain.  Today is a typical Willamette Valley Day, socked in, a light drizzle punctuated by an occasional heavy rain.  Wet, dark and cold. So I’m hold up infront of the computer.

While checking out FaceBook posts, I ran across one from Brodie Perry.  He runs a vocal studio ( http://brodieperry.com/ ) in Santa Clara, Utah but has online students world wide. He is one fantastic singer himself and his students shine.   His post is about not pre-judging one’s performance while in the middle of it by not listening or taking heed to how  one thinks he or she is sounding.

Oh, just go and read it for yourself @  http://lnkd.in/b_AvPZq

When there just click the see more to read all that Brodie has to say.  You’ll like his take on this subject.

My comment was “Great post. I’ve sometimes thought I was bad, while recordings and listeners said otherwise. The “Don’t pre-judge yourself” is good advice.”

Well, Brodie explains it all so I’m out of here.

Catch you next time.

Jay
